Boeing reported a successful test of manned-unmanned teaming software during the Emerald Flag military exercise at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. The test demonstrated command and control between a 1900D Beechcraft and an E90 King Air over Link 16, the primary communications network for the U.S. military. Boeing said the capability is intended to support future integration with the MQ-25A Stingray and F/A-18 Super Hornet after further testing and evaluation.

Defense production contract

In a separate October 5 release, Boeing said it had received an undefinitized contract action worth approximately USD 14.70 billion from Lockheed Martin to scale production and deliver PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement seekers. The seven-year framework is intended to triple PAC-3 MSE seeker production, according to Boeing Investor Relations.

Upcoming results

Boeing said it plans to release its third-quarter 2026 financial results on October 27, with management scheduled to discuss the results and company outlook during a conference call.
