BAT maintains 2026 guidance
In a September 29, 2026 release, British American Tobacco said it remained on track for the lower end of its FY26 guidance ranges. The company cited revenue growth of 3% to 5% and adjusted profit-from-operations growth of 4% to 6%, both at constant rates and adjusted for Canada. It also expected adjusted diluted EPS growth toward the middle of its 5% to 8% range.
BAT said it expected New Category revenue to grow at a mid-teens rate through 2030 and New Category contribution margin to reach at least 30% by 2030. The release also said the company expected to remain within its 2.0 to 2.5 times target leverage range by year-end.
