Bachem stock reports CHF 326.4 million first-half sales

Bachem Holding AG reported sales of CHF 326.4 million for the first half of 2026, up 4.3 percent from the prior-year period. In local currencies, sales increased 7.3 percent, according to the company's half-year report.
Profitability affected by growth costs
Operating income before depreciation and amortization, or EBITDA, declined 9.0 percent to CHF 82.8 million, while the EBITDA margin fell to 25.4 percent from 29.1 percent in the first half of 2025. Net income increased 0.3 percent to CHF 50.3 million. Bachem expects 2026 sales growth of 35 percent to 40 percent in local currencies and an EBITDA margin in the low thirties, the report said.
Sisslerfeld investment planned
In an ad hoc announcement dated July 21, 2026, Bachem said it plans to invest more than CHF 500 million in a large-scale production facility at Sisslerfeld in Eiken, Switzerland. The company expects commercial production at the site to begin in 2030. The project is part of a strategic collaboration tied to an agreement to supply large volumes of peptides, according to Bachem's announcement.
