Arkema expands battery research center
Arkema announced on October 1, 2026, a EUR 10 million expansion project for its Global Battery Center of Excellence in Oullins-Pierre-Bénite, in France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, according to the company’s press release.
The company said the center’s footprint will be tripled and its research infrastructure modernized, including increased digitalization of research and development activities. Arkema said the project is supported in part by the French Research Tax Credit and the French state’s France 2030 program, the release said.
