Ameren Missouri sets out energy roadmap
Ameren Missouri, a subsidiary of Ameren Corporation, outlined a 20-year Integrated Resource Plan on September 28, 2026, covering natural gas, solar, battery storage, fuel cells, wind and nuclear resources. The plan includes 2,400 megawatts of battery storage by 2030, 1,300 megawatts of new solar generation by 2030 and 500 megawatts of natural gas fuel cells by 2030, according to Ameren investor relations.
Ameren Missouri said the plan accounts for 2.8 gigawatts of aggregate large-load demand by 2030 through signed electric service agreements. The plan is filed with the Missouri Public Service Commission every three years and may be updated more frequently.
