Akamai reports Anthropic agreement
In a September 24, 2026 release, Akamai said it had expanded its relationship with Anthropic through an $11.6 billion contractual commitment over seven years. The agreement is intended to support Anthropic’s CPU workload demand through Akamai Cloud’s distributed infrastructure and software.
Akamai said the relationship could expand by an additional $9 billion.
