Airbus SE shares on Euronext Paris last traded at EUR 193.10 on September 28, 2026, up EUR 0.70, or 0.36 percent, from the previous close.
September delivery update
Reuters reported on September 28 that Airbus was facing slower-than-expected September deliveries following the discovery of a glitch affecting its A321neo aircraft. One industry source said a cumulative total of 20 A321neo jets had been pushed into the fourth quarter partly because of the quality issue. Reuters reported that safety was not affected and that several airlines continued to accept the aircraft. Airbus declined to comment on incomplete monthly totals but said the issue had not changed its full-year targets.
Buyback transactions reported
In an Airbus press release dated September 21, Airbus reported that Airbus SE repurchased 1,169,475 shares between September 11 and September 18, 2026. The transactions had a weighted average purchase price of EUR 196.43. Airbus said the purchases formed part of a program intended to support future employee share ownership plans and equity-based compensation plans. The program was authorized under a shareholder mandate allowing the board to repurchase up to 10 percent of issued share capital.
