Sedgman awarded Australian copper project contract
On October 1, 2026, the ACS Group pressroom reported that CIMIC Group company Sedgman had been awarded a design, procurement and construction contract by KGL Resources for the processing plant at the Jervois Copper Project in Australia's Northern Territory. The same source said Sedgman will deliver, commission and test the plant and associated infrastructure and services.
The processing plant is designed to treat two million tonnes of ore per year using crushing, grinding, flotation and thickening circuits to produce a single copper concentrate. An earlier ACS Group pressroom release identifies Sedgman as a member of the ACS Group.
