Faster blocks are the main change
According to Coinranking, NU7 is expected to target a reduction in block spacing from 75 seconds to 25 seconds under ZIP 218. That would shorten the time between confirmations for payments, exchange deposits and other transactions that wait for network finality. Coinranking also reported that daily ZEC issuance is intended to remain unchanged because the subsidy per block would adjust to the faster schedule.
Activation date still needs caution
