The USDC price remained close to its one-dollar target on November 8, 2026, while the stablecoin's issuer highlighted stronger transaction activity and expanding payment use. Investing.com displayed USDC at 1.0010 USD at 13:03:51, with a 24-hour volume of 9.21 billion USD and a market capitalization of 70.52 billion USD. The page did not provide a dated UTC comparison basis, so no daily percentage change is used here. The figures are from the Investing.com USDC market page.

Usage is rising faster than balances

Circle's third-quarter results show a stablecoin whose network activity is growing faster than its outstanding supply. In its November 4 results release, Circle reported average USDC in circulation of 73.3 billion USD, up 8 percent from a year earlier. Onchain transaction volume reached 13.9 trillion USD, an increase of 49 percent year over year.

That distinction matters for investors assessing stablecoin adoption. A larger transaction base can indicate that existing balances are being used more actively for settlement, transfers and trading, even when circulation grows more slowly. It does not by itself guarantee higher issuer profits or a sustained increase in supply.

Payment infrastructure broadens the use case

Circle also reported several efforts to place USDC within conventional payment workflows. Visa moved stablecoin prefunding from pilots to commercial deployment, while Samsung Wallet enabled eligible users in the United States to send USDC to qualifying bank accounts in more than 60 countries, with delivery in local currency, according to Circle.

A separate ACI Worldwide and Circle announcement dated October 27 described a Colombian pilot using ACI Connetic and Circle's infrastructure. The initiative is designed to test how USDC settlement can operate alongside Bre-B, Colombia's interoperable instant-payments system. This is an implementation project rather than evidence of completed nationwide adoption.

Reserve economics remain important

Circle's reported growth also has a counterpoint. Reserve income fell 8 percent year over year to 658 million USD as the reserve return rate declined by 61 basis points, partly offset by higher average circulation. Other revenue included 182 million USD from the ARC token presale, an item that is separate from the core economics of USDC reserves.

For the USDC price, the central near-term signal remains stability around one dollar rather than speculative appreciation. For investors, the relevant questions are whether transaction activity converts into durable payment demand, whether circulation expands, and how reserve yields and distribution costs affect Circle's business model.
