Stellar adds two Chainlink data services
Stellar said on October 14, 2026, that Chainlink Data Feeds and Data Streams were available on its network. Data Feeds deliver market data for smart contracts, while Data Streams are designed for lower-latency applications. The services are intended for lending markets, prediction markets, perpetual futures and tokenized assets.
The same report said leading applications were adopting the infrastructure for collateral processing, loan-to-value calculations, automated liquidations and stablecoin reference rates. These functions use external market information to help blockchain applications calculate values and conditions without relying on a single data source.
More than 4 billion USD in tokenized assets
The Cryptonomist reported on October 14, 2026, that Stellar's ecosystem supported more than 4 billion USD in real-world assets. The report described the Chainlink launch as a connection between those tokenized assets and decentralized finance applications such as lending, collateral management and stablecoin markets.
