Solana price remains under pressure as investors assess weakening fund flows and a bearish technical backdrop. In an investing snapshot retrieved for Nov. 2, 2026, the SOL/USD page displayed 94.043 US dollars, a 24-hour volume of 1.42 billion US dollars and a market capitalization of 55.65 billion US dollars. The page ranked Solana seventh among the listed cryptocurrencies. The displayed figures come from the Investing.com Solana price page.
ETF withdrawals intensify
The clearest near-term pressure point is institutional fund demand. An analysis by FXStreet, published by TMGM on Nov. 2, said US-listed spot SOL ETFs recorded weekly net withdrawals of 71.47 million US dollars in the previous week. It described the figure as the largest weekly withdrawal since launch and said the outflow streak had reached four consecutive weeks.
That flow data does not by itself establish the cause of SOL's price movement, but it gives investors a measurable indicator of reduced demand from the fund channel. The same analysis noted that SOL was trading below its 50-day, 100-day and 200-day exponential moving averages at 103.81, 99.96 and 98.08 US dollars, respectively. It identified 97.76 US dollars as an initial resistance area and 88.42 US dollars as an important downside reference.
Protocol development continues
While market positioning is cautious, development activity continues. The official Solana Changelog dated Oct. 29 lists Agave v4.4.0, Firedancer Mainnet Release v26.10.5 and the release of offchain message signing. It also describes ongoing work on validator performance, transaction handling and runtime infrastructure.
For investors, the contrast is important: protocol upgrades can strengthen the network's long-term utility, but they do not automatically translate into short-term token demand. The Solana price therefore remains exposed to ETF flows, broader crypto-market risk appetite and whether the token can reclaim the technical levels identified by the market analysis.
