Why did the Shenzhen Component fall on October 12?
The U.S. International Trade Commission opened a Section 337 patent investigation tied to power-supply systems and computing equipment. Gongyefulian and Luxshare Precision were among the Chinese companies named in coverage of the case, Aju Press reported.
Higher global interest rates and trade tensions also unsettled mainland stocks, according to RTHK. The two-market turnover totaled 1.54 trillion yuan, down from the previous session, Xinhua said.
