CoreWeave fell 3.0 percent in Thursday trading as concerns about debt-financed artificial intelligence infrastructure weighed on the stock, Investopedia reported.
Why did Nasdaq Composite recover as rates fell?
The index had fallen 1 percent after the open before narrowing the loss. A flight into Treasuries pushed the 10-year yield down to 5.09 percent, Yahoo Finance reported.
Retail sales rose 0.8 percent in September, while weekly jobless claims reached 199,000. The PPI rose 6.3 percent year over year against a 5.5 percent forecast, keeping rate concerns in focus.
Technology shares stayed under pressure
Intel fell 4.4 percent at 1:01 p.m. ET, while semiconductor shares remained weak. Healthcare and consumer staples attracted buying as investors rotated away from artificial intelligence and memory-chip exposure.
