- Monero's network hashrate reached 7.06 GH/s, or 93.6% of the reported 7.54 GH/s record.
- Three mining pools accounted for about 60% of network computing power in data cited by Coinotag.
- An Investing.com snapshot showed XMR at 629.520 USD, 1.64% below CoinGecko's UTC close for November 4.
Monero price is being assessed alongside a strengthening but concentrated mining network. A report published by COINOTAG said Monero's hashrate reached 7.06 GH/s on October 27, 2026. That was 93.6% of the reported all-time record of 7.54 GH/s, with the article also noting that the network's computing power had risen 12.93% over 30 days and 31.31% over 90 days.
Network security and pool share
Higher hashrate means more computing power is being committed to the network, a factor that can raise the cost of an attempted rewrite of blocks. The same COINOTAG report, however, identified a concentration issue. SupportXMR accounted for 26.3% of the measured hashrate, NanoPool for 17.3% and Criptex for 16.4% as of October 26. Together, the three pools represented about 60% of network computing power.
Pool shares can change as miners redirect their machines, so the figures are a dated snapshot rather than a permanent distribution. For investors, the combination of near-record hashrate and concentrated pool participation presents two separate aspects of network analysis: expanding aggregate security capacity and the distribution of block-production influence.
Price snapshot and daily basis
Investing.com displayed XMR at 629.520 USD in its checked snapshot, with a listed 24-hour change of 0.47% and a displayed daily range of 623.067 to 646.600 USD. The page also showed a market capitalization of 11.94 billion USD, 24-hour volume of 192.17 million USD, rank 12 and 18.83 million XMR in circulation.
For a comparable UTC basis, CoinGecko recorded a November 4 close of 640.02 USD. The Investing.com snapshot was therefore 1.64% lower than that previous UTC daily close. This is a daily-basis comparison, not a rolling 24-hour performance figure.
What investors should monitor
The Monero price remains exposed to the usual volatility of crypto markets, while the network data adds a project-specific question: whether rising hashrate is accompanied by a broader distribution of mining power. Monero's official website describes the project as a private, decentralized cryptocurrency. That stated design focus makes both network resilience and participation structure relevant points for ongoing analysis, without establishing a forecast for XMR.
