Oil and stimulus support sentiment
Indonesia's rebound reflected bargain hunting after last week's decline, while lower oil prices and reduced expectations of an October Federal Reserve rate hike supported risk appetite, The Edge Malaysia reported. The Indonesian government also prepared IDR31 trillion in fourth-quarter stimulus for purchasing power, employment and business support, according to RRI.
For the next session on October 7, 2026, investors will focus on the Federal Reserve's September meeting minutes. Market participants are also watching domestic data releases due later this week, including September foreign-exchange reserves and consumer confidence, Antara reported.
