FalconX facility places 1 billion USD in focus
TokenPost reported on October 13, 2026, that FalconX and Ethena were operating a 1 billion USD facility backed by reserve assets associated with USDe. The loans are overcollateralized, meaning pledged assets exceed the borrowed amount, and Ethena holds first-priority security rights over the collateral. FalconX had processed more than 2.5 trillion USD in cumulative trading volume, the report said.
The structure adds institutional lending to the uses associated with the synthetic dollar, a token designed to track the value of the US dollar rather than represent a conventional bank deposit. The report did not establish a direct effect on the Ethena USDe price.
USDe supply reached 4.94 billion USD
Ethena's governance update published on October 13, 2026, said USDe supply recovered from a quarterly low of 3.90 billion USD at the end of July and reached 5.00 billion USD on September 27 before closing the quarter at 4.94 billion USD. The same update said September added more than 700 million USD of supply, according to Ethena Foundation governance.
The update reported a 101.43 percent backing ratio on October 12, 2026, with 4.83 billion USD in backing assets against 4.76 billion USD of USDe supply.
