- The official Ethereum roadmap lists Glamsterdam as being tested on devnets, with mainnet deployment expected in the fourth quarter of 2026 but no confirmed date.
- Ethereum traded at 2,291.82 US dollars on the checked Investing.com page, while its 24-hour volume was 7.89 billion US dollars.
Ethereum investors are weighing a weaker institutional demand signal against continued work on the network's next major upgrade. The TokenPost reported on November 4 that US spot Ether ETFs recorded net withdrawals of 85.35 million US dollars on November 3. That extended the outflow streak to seven consecutive trading days.
ETF demand remains the key signal
The withdrawals were concentrated in two funds. BlackRock's ETHA saw 74.44 million US dollars leave, while Grayscale's ETH fund recorded outflows of 10.91 million US dollars, according to the TokenPost report, which cited SoSoValue data. The 11 funds had cumulative net inflows of 12.06 billion US dollars, and their total net assets stood at 13.32 billion US dollars after the November 3 session.
This flow pattern matters because regulated investment products provide one visible gauge of institutional demand for Ether. It does not by itself establish the direction of the token's next move, but sustained redemptions can remain a relevant risk factor for investors monitoring liquidity and positioning.
Glamsterdam remains a future catalyst
The official Ethereum roadmap lists Glamsterdam as Ethereum's next upgrade after Fusaka. The project is currently in devnet testing. Mainnet deployment is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026, but the roadmap says that no date has been confirmed.
The planned changes are aimed at scaling layer 1. They include enshrined proposer-builder separation, block-level access lists and revised pricing for state growth. The roadmap says these changes are designed to support parallel processing, larger data capacity and more sustainable network operation. For investors, the upgrade is a potential medium-term network catalyst, but its timing and final scope remain subject to further testing.
Ethereum price in market context
At the checked Investing.com market page, Ether was quoted at 2,291.82 US dollars. The page showed a 24-hour volume of 7.89 billion US dollars, a market capitalization of 279.55 billion US dollars and 122.19 million ETH in circulation. Its displayed 52-week range was 1,507.60 to 3,657.37 US dollars.
The current Ethereum price therefore sits between a near-term demand concern and a longer-term protocol development story. Investors should distinguish the dated ETF-flow data from the live market quote and avoid treating either measure as a standalone forecast. Further ETF reports and updates to the Glamsterdam test schedule remain the more immediate reference points.
