Dogecoin price steadied below 0.08 USD as Binance reopened its first withdrawal phase after a security incident. Investors are still awaiting a fuller reserve disclosure that explicitly covers DOGE.

What Dogecoin holders should watch

  • Binance has placed the Dogecoin network in the first phase of reopened withdrawals after its October 29 security incident.
  • Dogecoin traded at 0.075228 USD on the Investing.com readout, while its 52-week range was 0.067913 to 0.186612 USD.
  • The October 31 reserve snapshot did not list DOGE among the fully backed balances, with a fuller proof of reserves announced for November 3.

The Dogecoin price remained below 0.08 USD as investors weighed renewed withdrawal access at Binance against unresolved questions around the exchange's DOGE reserves. The Investing.com readout reviewed for this report listed DOGE at 0.075228 USD, with a daily range of 0.074902 to 0.076304 USD. The same page showed a 52-week range of 0.067913 to 0.186612 USD, 24-hour volume of 392.39 million USD and a market capitalization of 11.77 billion USD.

The market data is a readout rather than a UTC daily-close comparison, so it does not establish a percentage move against the November 2 UTC close. The figures nevertheless place DOGE close to the lower part of its annual range and give investors a current reference point without treating an intraday quote as a completed daily performance.

Binance reopens withdrawals in stages

According to CryptoTicker, Binance opened a first withdrawal phase on November 1 after the exchange's October 29 attack. The Dogecoin network was included among 15 networks scheduled for the initial reopening, although the report noted that individual routes could become available at different times.

The same report said Binance's October 31 reserve snapshot identified ten balances as fully backed, but did not name Dogecoin. That omission is not proof of a shortfall; it means that the snapshot did not provide a separate DOGE backing figure. Binance had announced a fuller proof of reserves, including a zero-knowledge attestation, for November 3.

Utility plans do not remove execution risk

Separate from the exchange incident, crypto.news reported that Dogecoin Labs is bringing together MyDoge, DogeOS and Such App around wallets, applications and merchant payments. The report said DogeOS opened a public developer testnet on September 30 and that the planned applications remain a development story rather than established demand for DOGE.

The project describes Dogecoin as an open-source peer-to-peer digital currency on its official website. For investors, the commercial initiatives may broaden potential use, but they do not by themselves demonstrate transaction growth, fee capture or value accrual for holders.

Technical pressure remains relevant

A November 2 analysis by CryptoTicker said the 50-day moving average had fallen below the 200-day average on Kraken daily closes on October 28. It also reported that wallets holding between 10 million and 100 million DOGE had reduced their holdings by about 120 million DOGE since the preceding Thursday, based on Santiment data. These indicators describe market positioning, not a certain future direction.

Against this backdrop, the Dogecoin price is being shaped by both exchange-access conditions and expectations for longer-term utility. The next reserve disclosure and subsequent withdrawal activity are more informative than the reopening announcement alone. Further coverage is available on the Dogecoin topic page.
