Dogecoin price remains below 0.08 USD as the project moves from a meme-led narrative toward a broader utility push. The latest snapshot read on November 7 showed DOGE at 0.072738 USD. Investors are now weighing a planned ecosystem reorganization against the still-unproven commercial use of the network.
A new structure for Dogecoin products
On October 21, House of Doge announced agreements to contribute selected product, engineering and commercial operations, together with related assets, to the newly formed Dogecoin Labs in exchange for a strategic equity stake. The announcement did not disclose the size of that stake or a valuation. Investing.com reported that the arrangement also replaces the previous exclusive commercial agreement between House of Doge and the Dogecoin Foundation with a long-term license.
Dogecoin Labs is intended to combine capabilities from House of Doge with MyDoge and DogeOS. The latter is described as an EVM-compatible application layer designed to add smart-contract capabilities around Dogecoin. Jordan Jefferson and Alex Lewis, the founders of DogeOS and MyDoge, are named to lead the new organization alongside Tim Stebbing of the Dogecoin Foundation.
Market snapshot remains subdued
The latest Investing.com page snapshot showed a 24-hour volume of 675.67 million USD, a market capitalization of 11.42 billion USD and a market rank of 12. The displayed 52-week range was 0.067913 to 0.185759 USD. These figures provide context for the current valuation, but they do not establish a verified UTC day-on-day performance for November 7.
What investors should watch
House of Doge said the restructuring is expected to reduce operating overhead and future capital requirements, while its retained license covers collaboration with 21Shares on Dogecoin exchange-traded products and a related ETP. For DOGE holders, the more important test is whether MyDoge, DogeOS and payment products generate sustained activity rather than only a new corporate structure. The asset transfer was announced as part of the agreements, so its completion and eventual commercial execution should be treated separately from the October announcement.
