The Chainlink price is in focus after Aave adopted Chainlink 24/7 data feeds for tokenized real-world asset collateral. Chainlink announced the product on October 29, 2026, and identified Aave as its official launch partner on November 2, according to The Cryptonomist.
Continuous pricing for tokenized assets
Chainlink 24/7 is designed to provide market data for equities, commodities and other real-world assets across regular trading sessions, weekends and market holidays. The company describes the service as a new product on its official website, which lists the October 29 announcement among its recent news items.
The service extends Chainlink's existing weekday coverage. During active market sessions, it uses the available 24/5 data. When traditional exchanges are closed, the system uses quotes from several perpetual-futures venues, according to The Cryptonomist. That means weekend reference prices for tokenized assets are derived from derivatives markets rather than transactions on a closed stock exchange. Chainlink also says its methodology filters stale inputs and limits the effect of outliers.
Aave applies the feeds to collateral
Aave is using the data feeds to value tokenized real-world assets held as collateral on Horizon, its institutional lending platform. The initial integration covers high-volume U.S. equities. Continuous valuations can help lending applications monitor collateral when traditional markets are closed, although the underlying tokenized assets and the lending platform remain subject to eligibility and compliance requirements.
The Cryptonomist reported that Horizon is a licensed Aave instance for institutional and qualified participants. Borrowers must meet issuer requirements, which can include identity verification and compliance checks. The report also said that valuations outside specified bounds can be rejected, with the last valid price retained while an issue is investigated.
