- The service may improve infrastructure utility, but off-hours reference prices can differ from the next traditional-market opening price.
The Chainlink price is being watched after Chainlink launched a new data service aimed at markets that operate around the clock. The launch expands the network's role in tokenized real-world assets, while the token itself remains exposed to the broader volatility of crypto markets.
Chainlink extends market data coverage
Chainlink introduced Chainlink 24/7 on October 29, according to The Crypto Times. The service is designed to provide reference data for equities, commodities and other real-world assets during regular trading sessions, weekends and market holidays. It extends Chainlink's existing 24/5 coverage for U.S. equities.
Aave is adopting the feeds to value tokenized collateral for institutional real-world-asset lending. The use case is relevant because blockchain-based lending can remain active when traditional exchanges are closed. Chainlink said the service is delivered through its Data Feeds and Data Streams.
Off-hours pricing has limitations
The additional coverage does not mean that a closed stock exchange is publishing a live cash-market quote. The report says Chainlink combines regular and extended-session data with quotes from multiple perpetual-futures venues when traditional markets are closed. Those references can therefore diverge from the price established when the underlying market next opens.
For investors, the launch is best viewed as an infrastructure and adoption development rather than a direct valuation signal for LINK. Its economic importance will depend on which assets receive coverage, how widely applications integrate the feeds and how the data performs during thin off-hours liquidity. Aave's adoption supplies a concrete use case, but it does not guarantee higher token demand or a sustained token-price response.
Current market snapshot
On the reviewed Investing.com page, Chainlink was quoted at 11.305 USD at 13:49:04 Berlin time. The page showed a 24-hour volume of 260.81 million USD, a market capitalization of 8.47 billion USD and rank 14. It also listed a 52-week range of 7.003 to 17.647 USD, with 748.10 million LINK in circulation against a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens.
The Chainlink price snapshot should not be confused with a verified UTC day-end comparison: the reviewed page provides a live quote and does not establish the preceding UTC daily close in the displayed data. Investors should therefore separate the dated October 29 product announcement from the live market reading on November 3.
