Chainlink price data is gaining a new institutional use case as Aave adopts the network's always-on feeds for tokenized collateral. LINK remains below 12 USD in the latest Investing.com reading, while the October 29 product launch broadens Chainlink's market-data coverage.

  • Aave is adopting the feeds to price tokenized collateral for institutional lending beyond traditional market hours.

Chainlink is extending its infrastructure for tokenized markets beyond traditional trading hours. The protocol launched Chainlink 24/7 on October 29, providing continuous data feeds for equities, commodities and other real-world assets. Aave is adopting the feeds to price tokenized collateral for institutional lending when conventional markets are closed, according to The Crypto Times.

Closing the weekend data gap

The service builds on Chainlink's earlier 24/5 coverage for US equities. That product covered weekday pre-market, regular, post-market and overnight sessions. Chainlink 24/7 is intended to add weekends and market holidays, when blockchain-based applications can continue operating even though many underlying markets are not open.

For Aave, the practical application is continuous collateral valuation for institutional real-world-asset lending. This is an infrastructure use case rather than a direct indication of LINK demand or token performance. The Crypto Times also reported that the launch followed Chainlink's introduction of CustodySync on October 26, with Anchorage Digital identified as the first custodian adopting that system.

LINK remains below 12 USD

The latest Investing.com page displayed the Chainlink price at 11.133 USD at 13:20:35 Berlin time. The page showed a 24-hour trading volume of 912.99 million USD, a market capitalization of 8.27 billion USD and a rank of 14. It listed a daily range of 10.294 to 11.172 USD and a 52-week range of 7.003 to 17.647 USD.

Investing.com also listed 748.10 million LINK in circulation against a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. These figures describe the market snapshot shown on the page and do not establish a causal link between the October 29 launch and the token's subsequent price movement.

What investors should watch

The key question is whether continuous pricing becomes a recurring requirement for tokenized collateral and other onchain financial products. Aave's adoption provides a concrete use case, but the available announcement does not quantify additional fees, LINK purchases or revenue attributable to the launch. For LINK holders, adoption is therefore a network-usage indicator, while the investment case remains exposed to crypto-market volatility and execution risk.
