- Cardano Node 11.2 is a pre-release for DijkstraNet integration testing and does not activate Dijkstra on mainnet.
- Cardano proposals address regulated stablecoins and quantum-resistant signature verification, but remain under review.
- Investing.com displayed ADA at USD 0.1809, with a market capitalization of USD 6.69 billion and 24-hour volume of USD 351.35 million.
- Investors should track testnet adoption, the planned Node 11.3 release and progress through the CIP review process.
Cardano is moving into another testing phase as developers prepare the Dijkstra upgrade, while ADA remains below USD 0.20. Investing.com displayed the Cardano price at USD 0.1809 on its ADA/USD page, which was labeled real-time. The same page showed a market capitalization of USD 6.69 billion, 24-hour volume of USD 351.35 million and a 52-week range of USD 0.1385 to USD 0.6065. These figures describe the source page's displayed market data and are not used here to claim a UTC day-over-day performance.
Testing, not a mainnet activation
According to the Cardano Forum, Node 11.2 is available as a pre-release. It includes the Dijkstra hard-fork features apart from Leios and is intended to move DijkstraNet into the Dijkstra era, allowing wallet, tooling and infrastructure teams to begin integration testing. Stake pool operators on the testnet are expected to upgrade before the testnet hard fork.
The distinction matters for ADA holders: the release is a testnet milestone, not evidence that Dijkstra is active on Cardano's mainnet. The same forum update says Node 11.3 is expected to include Leios and could follow in three to four weeks, but it does not provide a fixed release date. The practical signals to watch are operator participation, compatibility across ecosystem infrastructure and whether testing produces a stable basis for a later mainnet decision.
New proposals remain under review
Cardano's development agenda also includes proposals for regulated digital assets and cryptographic resilience. Crypto.news reported on the November 1 CIP roundup, which included a draft standard for regulated stablecoins built on the CIP-0113 programmable-token framework.
The proposed standard seeks common compliance requirements so wallets, exchanges and infrastructure providers could support qualifying tokens without separate integrations for every issuer. A separate CIP-0206 proposal would add two quantum-resistant signature verification functions for Plutus smart contracts. Both initiatives remain proposals: neither represents an activated mainnet feature or a change to ordinary ADA holdings and wallet signatures.
What the Cardano price signals
The current setup leaves ADA investors balancing a subdued market level against a development roadmap that is still in the testing and review stages. The Cardano price can provide market context, but the more material protocol milestones are the DijkstraNet transition, the eventual Node 11.3 pre-release and the outcome of the CIP review process. Until those steps are completed, the announced features should be treated as preparation rather than delivered network functionality.
