The BNB price remains under scrutiny as Binance continues restoring withdrawal services after a major security incident. In an announcement published on November 3, Binance said a new phase would begin at 04:00 UTC, with additional assets and networks brought back online progressively rather than all at once.
Binance's Recovery Update #6 lists planned withdrawals across BSC, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, Sui, Arbitrum, Optimism, Tron and Base. The company stressed that the listed assets would not become available simultaneously. Users were advised to check the withdrawal page or network-status page for each asset and network because temporary delays could occur during the rollout.
Security incident remains central
The reopening follows the compromise of Binance hot wallets on October 29 at approximately 20:05 UTC. Binance previously estimated the impact at about USD 6.3 billion. In its recovery reporting, the exchange said the stolen assets were being replenished through the Secure Asset Fund for Users, futures insurance funds and corporate treasury resources. A separate Binance update said that 90 percent of the affected amount had been covered by October 31 and that BNB was among the listed assets fully backed in that update.
BNB price and investor context
Investing.com displayed BNB at USD 692.60, with a reported 24-hour change of minus 2.60 percent and a 24-hour volume of USD 1.32 billion. The page also showed a market capitalization of USD 91.04 billion and a rank of four. These figures describe the displayed market snapshot, while the withdrawal announcements concern operational recovery at Binance; they do not by themselves establish a causal link between the security incident and the token's intraday movement.
For investors, the key near-term variable is execution: Binance is reopening services in stages, and the exchange has not presented the process as complete. The security response, the verification of affected infrastructure and the eventual restoration of further network-asset combinations remain relevant to the BNB price and to confidence in the wider Binance ecosystem.
