Bitcoin price held above 78,000 USD as investors assessed improving Binance flows and continued ETF selling. The next test is whether support near 76,000 to 78,000 USD can hold.

Bitcoin faces a cautious November test

  • Bitcoin traded at 78,039.1 USD on November 4, with a daily range of 75,735.7 to 78,040.9 USD.
  • Recent ETF outflows and the Binance hack remain key pressure points for sentiment.
  • Analysts are watching support between 76,000 and 78,000 USD and a possible recovery above 80,000 USD.

Bitcoin price held above 78,000 USD on November 4 as crypto investors weighed signs of improving exchange flows against continued selling by US spot Bitcoin ETFs. Investing.com displayed Bitcoin at 78,039.1 USD at 06:50:57 Berlin time, with a session range of 75,735.7 to 78,040.9 USD. The page also showed a market capitalization of 1.56 trillion USD and 24-hour volume of 26.23 billion USD.

The latest market backdrop remains unsettled. In an article dated November 4, Proactive via Yahoo Finance reported that Bitcoin was trading around 77,100 USD earlier on Wednesday. The report said Binance customer flows had improved, with the exchange reporting net inflows of around 2.3 billion USD after several days of heavy withdrawals following the 6.3 billion USD hack.

ETF demand remains a market drag

Improving exchange flows have not removed the pressure from institutional demand. Proactive reported that US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows of about 27 million USD on November 3, following withdrawals of approximately 399 million USD on November 2. The report also said BlackRock's IBIT recorded its largest outflow since June.

Bloomberg separately reported that US-listed Bitcoin funds recorded 1.04 billion USD in net outflows over Friday and Monday. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust accounted for 405 million USD of Monday's withdrawals, according to the Bloomberg report. These flows are an important sentiment indicator, but they do not by themselves establish the next direction of the 24-hour crypto market.

Support zone sets the near-term test

A November 3 analysis by 21Shares identified 76,000 to 78,000 USD as the key area for November. The analysis said Bitcoin closed October down 7.3% at about 77,500 USD and that the market was testing the True Market Mean near 77,600 USD. It placed the next downside cluster between 75,800 and 76,200 USD, while 80,000 USD and 81,000 to 82,000 USD were identified as important recovery hurdles.

For investors, the current setup is therefore a test of demand rather than a confirmed trend reversal. Bitcoin price strength above 80,000 USD would improve the short-term structure, while a break below 76,000 USD would increase downside risk. The next signals to monitor are ETF flows, Binance's withdrawal process and whether the exchange can demonstrate full backing after the breach.
