The company said both secondary endpoints were also met, as reported in its October 23 release.
The release said 42.20% of participants treated with povetacicept reached a 24-hour urine protein-to-creatinine ratio below 0.5 grams per gram, compared with 6.20% in the placebo group. Vertex also reported that 96.00% of participants in a 25-person qualitative study preferred an autoinjector over a prefilled syringe, while 80.00% preferred dosing every four weeks over weekly dosing.
Upcoming regulatory date
