The fresh operating picture comes from Valeura's Q3 2026 update, published on October 7. In the Q3 2026 Operations Update, the Canadian producer said working-interest production before royalties averaged 22.1 thousand barrels of oil per day. Oil sales reached 2.013 million barrels at an average realised price of 97.4 US dollars per barrel, generating preliminary revenue of 196.1 million US dollars.
Cash Strength Supports Development
Cash rose to 384.9 million US dollars at September 30, including 15.8 million US dollars of restricted cash. Valeura reported no debt, while a 22.5 million US dollar receivable for oil sold near quarter-end was expected to be collected early in the fourth quarter.
The update also broadened the operating outlook. Valeura reported the Suraphi oil discovery on Block G1/48, took a final investment decision on the first phase of the Bussabong gas development and reached cumulative production of 100 million barrels at Jasmine on September 21.
Wassana Sets The Next Milestone
Onshore construction of the Wassana central processing platform finished on October 1. The jacket and platform were loaded for transport and installation, while development drilling was planned for late 2026. Management continues to target first oil from the platform around the beginning of the second quarter of 2027.
Investors can follow the real-time quote of Valeura Energy stock. The company plans to publish its full unaudited third-quarter financial and operating results on Wednesday, November 11, followed by a management webcast.
Canada's broader market context is reflected by the S&P/TSX Composite.
Further operating milestones will determine how quickly Valeura converts its Thailand project pipeline into production. More news and analyses on Valeura Energy stock.
