UNIQA pension study

The study surveyed 3,029 people between ages 16 and 60. It found that 17 percent of respondents who were not yet retired had calculated or commissioned a calculation of their expected state pension. Only 11 percent could correctly or accurately estimate the average share of their last net income represented by the state pension. The study was presented at the UNIQA Tower on October 15, 2026, and was distributed by APA-OTS through Deutsche Börse.

UNIQA also reported that 34 percent of respondents had already taken concrete measures for their financial security in retirement. The study was conducted online from late May through early July 2026.

Real estate business development

On October 6, 2026, UNIQA Real Estate appointed Mike Elsner as Head of Sales Real Estate DACH, according to the UNIQA Group press center. UNIQA Real Estate said its investment platform would serve third-party investors through fund vehicles, separate accounts and club deals. The UQA Real Estate Fund targets a total volume of EUR 600 million.
