- Uniper targets average annual dividend growth of 7% and sets a 300 million euro annual base dividend.
- The company intends to propose 321 million euros, or 0.77 euros per share, for fiscal 2026.
- Payment remains subject to sufficient German-GAAP net income and approval at the 2027 Annual General Meeting.
Uniper announced a new medium-term dividend policy on Friday, November 6, 2026, seeking to give shareholders a clearer view of future distributions. The Düsseldorf-based energy company said it is targeting average annual dividend growth of 7% and a yearly base dividend of 300 million euros. The announcement was published by Uniper.
Proposed payout depends on annual results
Under the policy, Uniper intends to propose a dividend of 321 million euros, or 0.77 euros per share, for fiscal 2026 at the 2027 Annual General Meeting. The proposed payment would be 7% above the 300 million euros, or 0.72 euros per share, paid for fiscal 2025. The proposal remains conditional on sufficient final net income under German GAAP and shareholder approval.
Chief Executive Officer Michael Lewis said the company expects its strategy and planned investments to support earnings growth. Uniper is focusing on flexible power generation, renewable energy, gas and liquefied natural gas, as well as renewable and low-carbon gases. The dividend framework therefore links the planned distribution to the company's expected profitable development, rather than guaranteeing a payment independent of annual results.
