TUI stock drew renewed attention on Wednesday, November 4, after the TUI Care Foundation's TUI Forest Mallorca project won the global award in the Adapting to Climate Change category at the 2026 Global Responsible Tourism Awards. The announcement came from TUI Group on November 4.

What the new release adds

Compared with the earlier report, TUI's release adds that three other TUI Care Foundation projects reached the global finals after winning regional Gold awards. The projects cover coral-reef restoration in Bali, mangrove restoration in the Dominican Republic and regenerative agriculture linked to tourism supply chains in Greece.

The 2026 awards brought together 34 finalists from 24 countries across six categories. TUI Forest Mallorca was developed with the Government of the Balearic Islands in the Península de Llevant Natural Park in northeastern Mallorca, an area affected by wildfires, land-use pressure and climate change.

Nature work supports destination resilience

The initiative combines native, fire-resistant planting with coastal-dune rehabilitation, habitat protection and environmental education. More than 1,100 people have participated in restoration, conservation and education activities, according to TUI. The jury praised the link between nature conservation, tourism development and visitor education.

For investors, the announcement highlights the foundation's partnership model rather than a new operating forecast. It gives TUI another visible sustainability reference in a major tourism destination, while the commercial effect on group earnings remains separate from the award itself.

The real-time quote of TUI stock stood at 7.52 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 18:10 CET on Wednesday, November 4, 0.80 percent above the Xetra close of 7.46 euros on Wednesday.

German equities remain linked to the broader direction of the DAX.
