Photomask initiative
TSMC and ASML said the initiative is intended to support full lithography-system readiness for advanced-node production by 2033. TSMC said it intends to use ASML’s High NA technology in high-volume manufacturing for advanced nodes starting in 2030. The companies established the initiative on September 7, 2026, ahead of the SPIE BACUS Conference, and said major ecosystem partners and suppliers had expressed interest, according to ASML.
