Tokio Marine Kiln appointed Jaci Eng and Jon Grossman as co-heads of property for Asia Pacific on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The specialty insurer said the appointments bring complementary strengths to the next phase of its regional property business, according to (Re)in Asia.
New leaders for APAC property
Eng is based in Singapore and has been with Tokio Marine Kiln since 2014. She most recently served as a property underwriter and previously worked at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty and Federal Insurance Company.
Grossman is also based in Singapore. He has been with Tokio Marine Kiln for almost three years and most recently underwrote property, power and onshore energy in Asia Pacific. His earlier employers included Chubb, Liberty Specialty Markets in Asia Pacific and Allianz Australia.
The joint appointment gives Tokio Marine Kiln two named senior leaders for a regional property operation. The insurer said the pair are positioned to lead the business and build on opportunities across the Asia-Pacific market.
Expansion remains the wider theme
The leadership change follows earlier hires intended to strengthen Tokio Marine Kiln's regional specialty-insurance offering. Those moves included Phoebe Liew as special risks underwriter and Jack Skinner as head of political violence and terrorism for Asia Pacific.
For shareholders, the announcement points to continued investment in the group's international specialty platform. Its direct significance is operational: senior underwriting responsibility for APAC property is now shared between two experienced regional specialists.
