Syensqo expanded its portfolio of certified circular specialty materials on October 8, 2026, by obtaining UL Environmental Claim Validation for Fomblin® Y. The company said around 40 percent of the fluorine content allocated to the newly certified products comes from post-industrial recycled hydrofluoric acid through a mass-balance accounting approach. Syensqo said it is also investing at its Spinetta Marengo manufacturing site in Italy to improve recycling capabilities and fluorine recovery.
