- Ströer increased first-half revenue and adjusted earnings while digital out-of-home remained the main growth driver.
- Management expects mid-single-digit third-quarter growth in out-of-home media but continued low-double-digit declines in data and e-commerce.
- The next quarterly statement is scheduled for November 12, 2026.
Ströer enters the final stretch before its third-quarter report with a split operating picture. The company is scheduled to publish its Q3 2026 quarterly statement on Thursday, November 12, according to its investor-relations calendar.
Digital Out-Of-Home Leads Growth
In the H1 earnings call published by Yahoo Finance, management said first-half revenue reached 1.037 billion euros, compared with 980 million euros a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA rose to 273 million euros from 266 million euros, while adjusted net income increased to 56 million euros from 52 million euros.
The strongest momentum came from out-of-home media. First-half segment revenue rose 8 percent on a reported basis to 492 million euros, with digital out-of-home revenue increasing 18.5 percent to 207 million euros. Adjusted EBITDA for the segment advanced 10.3 percent to 224 million euros, and the adjusted margin improved to 45.6 percent.
The second quarter showed the same pattern. Group revenue increased 7 percent to 542 million euros, while adjusted EBITDA reached 154 million euros, up 3 percent year over year. Reported net income declined to 29.7 million euros from 32.3 million euros, reflecting higher exceptional items and a weaker financial result.
Third Quarter Brings Mixed Signals
Management expects out-of-home media sales to grow in the mid-single-digit percentage range in the third quarter. Digital and Dialog Media are expected to develop broadly in line with the second quarter, while data and e-commerce sales are expected to decline in the low-double-digit percentage range.
The call also highlighted a timing effect from the FIFA World Cup. Management said some advertising budgets were brought forward into the second quarter, making the third quarter look softer, while the order book pointed to a positive fourth quarter. Ströer nevertheless confirmed its full-year 2026 guidance.
That guidance depends on continued strength in the core advertising business while the company works through pressure in its non-core activities. Data and e-commerce revenue declined 11.2 percent in the first half, and adjusted EBITDA in that segment fell 43 percent. Management said the Statista business model is being shifted from subscriptions toward usage-based corporate demand, with a recovery expected only gradually.
