STRABAG enters the final stretch before its next operating update with higher 2026 targets and a record order backlog. The company will begin its scheduled quiet period on Thursday, November 5, ahead of the January-to-September trading statement on Thursday, November 12.
Strabag stock traded at 102.40 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 18:08 CET on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 0.39 percent below the Xetra close of Tuesday, November 3, at 102.80 euros. Higher targets meet record backlog
STRABAG said first-half output reached 10 billion euros, while the order backlog rose to 36 billion euros. The company raised its 2026 output-volume outlook to close to 23 billion euros from around 22 billion euros previously.
The guided EBIT margin range increased to 5.5 percent to 6 percent from 5 percent to 5.5 percent. Net investments remain capped at no more than 1.5 billion euros. According to STRABAG's investor-relations page, infrastructure demand in Germany and international markets supported the stronger outlook.
November statement sets next test
The nine-month statement should provide a fresh view of order intake, backlog conversion and construction activity. Investors will also assess whether higher output can translate into the targeted margin range as investment activity and acquisition integration continue.
The record backlog improves visibility into future activity but does not remove execution risk. Construction earnings also carry seasonal effects, making the full-year margin and the pace of backlog conversion important measures in the next update.
The Euro Stoxx 50 provides the broader regional market backdrop for European equities.
