Turnaround Progress Meets Strategic Expansion

  • Third-quarter revenue rose 1 percent, while the net loss narrowed sharply from the prior year.
  • Stellantis reaffirmed its 2026 guidance and still targets positive industrial free cash flow in 2027.
  • A collaboration with Wayve and NVIDIA puts autonomous driving development in France on the strategic agenda.

Stellantis reported improving third-quarter operating metrics on October 28 while keeping its 2026 financial outlook intact. The automaker also retains a 2027 target for positive industrial free cash flow, leaving execution and cash generation as the central investor focus.

Stellantis Media said net revenue reached 37.6 billion euros in the third quarter, up 1 percent from the same period a year earlier. The net loss was 0.5 billion euros, a 90 percent improvement from the prior-year quarter, which had been affected by significant items.

Cash Flow Remains The Key Test

Adjusted operating income increased to 0.3 billion euros, producing a 0.7 percent margin and a 0.2 billion euro year-over-year improvement. Industrial free cash flow remained negative at 4.0 billion euros, although it improved by 0.3 billion euros from the third quarter of 2025.

Management reaffirmed its 2026 guidance, including a mid-single-digit percentage increase in net revenue and a low-single-digit adjusted operating margin. Stellantis also maintained its expectation of positive industrial free cash flow in 2027. The company expects value-creation savings to accelerate in the fourth quarter, while full-year net tariff costs are estimated at 1.0 billion euros.

Autonomy Adds A Strategic Angle

On October 23, Stellantis, Wayve, NVIDIA and the French government announced a collaboration focused on autonomous-vehicle deployment in France and wider European development. The plan combines Stellantis vehicle platforms and manufacturing expertise with Wayve's AI Driver and NVIDIA's computing and sensor architecture, according to Stellantis Media.

Stellantis stock traded at 4.15 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 10:15 Berlin time on Saturday, October 31, 2026. Investors can follow the real-time quote of Stellantis stock.
