- Preliminary fiscal 2026 figures met the updated forecast despite weaker revenue and cash flow.
- Around EUR 67 million in non-cash Americas impairments will weigh on reported EBIT.
- Management plans to propose a lower dividend, while final results are due on December 7.
Stabilus is lowering its medium-term ambitions after preliminary fiscal 2026 figures met the company’s updated forecast. In a corporate release published via EQS News on Thursday, November 5, the company cited weaker automotive demand in China and North America and lower investment appetite in automotive manufacturing equipment.
Lower targets reflect weaker demand
Stabilus now expects 2030 revenue of around EUR 1.5 billion, compared with its previous ambition of approximately EUR 2.0 billion. The adjusted EBIT-margin target is now a range of 12% to 15%, versus 15% previously.
Preliminary fiscal 2026 revenue reached EUR 1,197.6 million, while the adjusted EBIT margin was 10.4% and adjusted free cash flow EUR 96.1 million. All three measures met the updated forecast, but each was below the fiscal 2025 comparison.
Impairment weighs on reported earnings
Stabilus identified around EUR 67 million in non-cash goodwill impairments related to the Americas region. The charge reduces reported EBIT but is excluded from adjusted EBIT and does not affect liquidity or adjusted free cash flow. Reported fiscal 2026 EBIT is expected at EUR 63.7 million, compared with EUR 84.3 million a year earlier.
The management board intends to propose a dividend of EUR 0.22 per share for fiscal 2026, down from EUR 0.35 for fiscal 2025. The proposal remains subject to approval by the supervisory board and the annual general meeting scheduled for February 3, 2027.
Quote remains under pressure
Stabilus stock traded at EUR 14.32 on Lang & Schwarz at 18:05 CET on Friday, November 6, 2026. Compared with EUR 16.21 in the November 5 premarket report, the quote changed by -11.66%. The comparison is separate from a daily Xetra closing-price comparison.
