SSAB updates PileCalc design tool for SSAB stock

SSAB updates PileCalc
The Advanced FEM section now supports separate lateral-support conditions for calculating a pile’s initial buckling shape and for the actual buckling analysis, SSAB said in its October 1, 2026 release. The available settings include completely free support, fully restrained lateral displacement and support from the pile cap. SSAB said the revised options enable more accurate and versatile calculations. PileCalc and PileWallCalc are available through SSAB’s Tubular Design Tools.
