- SNDL reported third-quarter revenue of CAD 238.0 million, down 2.5 percent year over year.

SNDL stock traded at 1.25 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 14:04:32 CET on Thursday, November 5, 2026. The company is working through a sharp divide between improving retail performance and continued weakness in Cannabis Operations.
SNDL reported its third-quarter results on October 27 for the period ended September 30. According to Nasdaq, revenue fell 2.5 percent year over year to CAD 238.0 million and gross profit declined 9.8 percent to CAD 57.9 million. The company nevertheless returned to positive adjusted operating income of CAD 5.2 million.
Retail margins offset cannabis pressure
Cannabis Retail revenue increased 0.7 percent to CAD 85.6 million, supported by new stores and Value Buds conversions. Its gross margin reached 27.0 percent. Liquor Retail revenue decreased 3.3 percent, but its gross margin also reached a quarterly record at 27.0 percent.
Cannabis Operations remained the main drag. Revenue dropped 27.7 percent to CAD 27.0 million, while the segment posted an adjusted operating loss of CAD 11.4 million. SNDL attributed much of the decline to its exit from the unprofitable domestic dried-flower category and a shift toward higher-value products.
Restructuring shapes the next quarter
A CAD 52.0 million non-cash goodwill impairment contributed to a consolidated operating loss of CAD 48.3 million. SNDL also cited inventory adjustments and other effects, while saying that workforce reductions and manufacturing cost measures should begin contributing in the fourth quarter.
Free cash flow reached a quarterly record of CAD 20.0 million, including a CAD 10.6 million benefit from the initial unwinding of a captive insurance arrangement. The company also repurchased CAD 10.0 million of shares and is pursuing a possible substantial issuer bid of up to CAD 50.0 million, subject to conditions and board approval.
