Funding flexibility
Snam’s Board approved the annual renewal of the Euro Medium Term Notes program and the three-year renewal of the Euro Commercial Paper program. The EMTN program retains a maximum overall amount of EUR 15 billion, with approximately EUR 2.6 billion of residual capacity at the time of the announcement. Snam said it had issued approximately EUR 12.4 billion of bonds under the program to date.
The Euro Commercial Paper program also retains a maximum overall amount of EUR 3.5 billion. Commercial paper can be issued with maturities of up to 364 days, and outstanding paper under the program amounted to approximately EUR 1.2 billion at the time of the announcement. Snam said the programs support funding and liquidity management and may include sustainable-finance features.
