New AI investment platform

SK hynix held the first SK hynix Ventures Day in Silicon Valley as part of the launch. The event brought company executives together with global venture firms and startup representatives to discuss future technology cooperation, the company said.

Broader ecosystem focus

SK hynix said the initiative will expand its investment scope to AI computing, data centers, system software and optical interconnect. The company has operated a corporate venture capital organization since 2015 and said its activities have included direct investments, fund commitments and technology collaborations, according to the SK hynix Newsroom.
