- Bernstein rates Siemens Energy Outperform as data-center power demand supports its European capital-goods selection.
- Record orders, stronger comparable revenue and improved cash flow support the company’s fiscal 2026 outlook.
- Fourth-quarter and full-year results on November 11 will provide the next test of demand and profitability.
Bernstein has rated Siemens Energy Outperform and set a 210-euro price target, identifying the company as a beneficiary of rising electricity demand from data-center expansion. The assessment was reported on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in a report on Bernstein’s European capital-goods selection.
Analyst view meets stronger demand
The broker’s assessment focuses on Siemens Energy’s positioning in power infrastructure and the electricity requirements of new data centers. Grid investment and gas-turbine demand provide additional demand drivers, while execution in the wind business remains important for the earnings profile.
Siemens Energy reported record third-quarter orders of 17.9 billion euros in its August 5 earnings release, with backlog reaching 162 billion euros. Comparable revenue rose 18.5 percent to 11.4 billion euros, while profit before special items more than tripled to 1.623 billion euros from 497 million euros a year earlier.
Free cash flow before tax increased to 2.319 billion euros from 419 million euros in the prior-year quarter. Siemens Gamesa reported a positive result for the first time since fiscal 2022, and Siemens Energy said its wind business remained on track to reach break-even in fiscal 2026.
