Schneider Electric raised its 2026 financial target after reporting record third-quarter revenue, extending the company’s strong run in energy management and industrial automation. The update was released on October 16, 2026, in the company’s Q3 2026 revenue release.

Record sales strengthen the outlook
Third-quarter revenue reached 11.46 billion euros, an increase of 16.9 percent organically and 17.9 percent on a reported basis from the same quarter a year earlier. Schneider Electric described the result as a record for any quarter, with demand broad across its end markets and regions.
Energy Management revenue rose 18.8 percent organically to 9.615 billion euros. Industrial Automation grew 8.1 percent organically to 1.845 billion euros. By business model, Systems grew 22 percent organically, Products increased 17 percent and Software and Services advanced 7 percent.
Data Center and Networks remained the strongest demand area. Schneider Electric said quarterly demand in the data-center segment increased at a triple-digit rate worldwide, with momentum across hyperscale, colocation, neo-cloud and edge customers. The company also reported strong demand for prefabricated solutions, electrical distribution, protection and cooling.
Regional growth broadens the base
North America, which represented 40 percent of third-quarter revenue, grew 19.9 percent organically. China and East Asia delivered 26.1 percent organic growth, supported by AI-infrastructure investment, data centers and semiconductor activity. Europe grew 8.6 percent organically, while South Asia and International increased 13.2 percent.
Chief Executive Officer Olivier Blum said the combination of record revenue, a record backlog and triple-digit data-center demand gave management increasing visibility into 2027 and 2028. The company also said pricing actions and healthy volumes supported Product growth, while Systems continued to perform strongly.
PTC deal adds strategic weight
Schneider Electric is preparing the planned acquisition of PTC, announced on October 5, 2026. The transaction values PTC equity at approximately 22.6 billion US dollars and is intended to create a larger industrial software and AI platform. Closing is expected by the third quarter of 2027, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
Management expects the transaction to generate 250 million euros of cost synergies by the third year and approximately 800 million euros of revenue synergies. The company also expects the deal to be immediately low-single-digit accretive to adjusted earnings per share before purchase-price-accounting effects in the first full year of consolidation, assuming completion.
Higher target sets the next test
Schneider Electric now targets organic adjusted EBITA growth of 18 to 21 percent in 2026. The plan combines organic revenue growth of 12 to 14 percent with an adjusted EBITA-margin improvement of 100 to 120 basis points. Management expects continued pricing momentum, productivity and operating leverage to help offset raw-material inflation and net tariffs.
The company expects all four end markets to contribute in the fourth quarter. Data Center and Networks should maintain strong momentum, while Industry and Infrastructure are expected to contribute strongly. Buildings are expected to track macroeconomic conditions, and recurring software revenue and services growth are set to remain important operating indicators.
