- Third-quarter revenue reached a record level, with data-center demand supporting broad growth across regions and end markets.
- Management now expects stronger organic adjusted EBITA and revenue growth in 2026, alongside higher margin expansion.
- The 2026 full-year results are scheduled for February 18, 2027.
Schneider Electric raised its 2026 financial targets for the second time this year after reporting record third-quarter revenue, according to the company release published on October 16 and carried by Schneider Electric's press release. The update strengthens the growth profile but also leaves the stock exposed to high expectations after its recent advance.
Schneider Electric reported third-quarter revenue of EUR 11.46 billion, up 16.9% organically and 17.9% on a reported basis from the year-earlier period. The company described the figure as a quarterly record. Data Center and Networks demand rose at a triple-digit rate, while Energy Management increased 18.8% organically to EUR 9.615 billion. Industrial Automation grew 8.1% organically to EUR 1.845 billion.
Data centers drive broad growth
Growth extended across all four regions, with China and East Asia delivering 26.1% organic group growth and North America advancing 19.9%. Schneider Electric said demand remained broad across hyperscale, colocation, neo-cloud and edge customers. Systems revenue grew 22% organically, supported by prefabricated data-center solutions, electrical distribution, protection and cooling.
Management also pointed to continued momentum in software and services. AVEVA's annualized recurring revenue increased 10% at September 30, supported by customer upselling and new business. Software and Digital Services grew 8% organically in the quarter, while Field Services advanced 7%.
Higher 2026 targets
The company now expects organic adjusted EBITA growth of 18% to 21% in 2026, compared with the previous range of 14% to 19%. Organic revenue growth is projected at 12% to 14%, up from the earlier 10% to 13% range. Adjusted EBITA margin is expected to expand by 100 to 120 basis points, implying a margin of 19.7% to 19.9%.
Schneider Electric said all four end markets should contribute in the fourth quarter. Data Center and Networks is expected to sustain strong momentum, while Industry and Infrastructure should contribute materially. The company also expects pricing, productivity and operating leverage to help offset raw-material inflation and tariffs. It cautioned that Middle East disruption could pressure supply chains and increase inflation.
At 11:01 CEST on Friday, October 30, the real-time quote of Schneider Electric stock was EUR 240.30 on Lang & Schwarz, 3.03% below the Xetra close of EUR 247.80 on Thursday, October 29. The decline came as investors weighed the latest trading level against the company's stronger outlook; the available figures do not establish a direct causal link.
For investors, the central balance is clear: data-center demand, recurring software revenue and upgraded targets support earnings visibility, while valuation sensitivity and execution risks remain relevant. The planned acquisition of PTC also adds strategic potential but brings financing, regulatory and integration considerations. Schneider Electric will present its 2026 full-year results on February 18, 2027.
