Saint-Gobain is approaching the planned closing of its Dahl disposal on Monday, November 2, 2026, as the French building-materials group continues to reshape its portfolio. In its Q3 2026 sales release published on October 27, Saint-Gobain said the disposal of the Nordic specialist distributor was expected to close on November 2.

Saint-Gobain stock traded at 68.70 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 11:03 CET on Monday, November 2, 2026; the real-time quote of Saint-Gobain stock is available here.

Q3 Sales and Portfolio Shift

Saint-Gobain reported third-quarter sales of 11.6 billion euros, with like-for-like growth of 2.5 percent. Pricing increased 3.2 percent, while volumes declined 0.7 percent, highlighting a growth profile driven more by commercial execution and higher-value solutions than by broad-based demand.

All regions delivered like-for-like growth during the quarter. Asia-Pacific led with 8.0 percent, Europe advanced 2.5 percent and the Americas rose 0.6 percent. Construction chemicals remained a strong contributor, with like-for-like sales up 6.3 percent.

The group said its portfolio rotation reached 3.3 billion euros of sales announced year to date, including 17 acquisitions in high-growth countries and construction chemicals. The negative 2.1 percent structure effect in the quarter mainly reflected disposals in Nordic, Brazilian and Belgian distribution, as well as selected German activities.

Margin Outlook Remains Intact

Saint-Gobain maintained its expectation of an EBITDA margin above 15.0 percent for 2026. The company also expects like-for-like sales growth in the second half of the year, while warning that the macroeconomic environment remains contrasted and geopolitical conditions uncertain.

For investors, the update points to a continuing trade-off between pricing power and volume development. The portfolio changes may sharpen the group's focus on construction chemicals, infrastructure and higher-value solutions, but the quarter also showed that weaker volumes remain a constraint in parts of the building market.

The company has scheduled a site visit for investors and analysts in Milan on December 1, 2026. Saint-Gobain plans to publish its full-year 2026 results after the close of trading in Paris on February 18, 2027.
