Battery project in the Netherlands
RWE said it is building a battery storage facility in Moerdijk, Netherlands. The project is designed for 400 megawatts of power and 1,100 megawatt-hours of capacity. RWE said the facility is intended to reduce grid congestion and integrate offshore wind power from OranjeWind, with commissioning planned for the second quarter of 2028.
