- Bookings for 2027 sailings are running ahead of historical levels at higher prices, supporting the company's forward demand picture.
- Fuel costs, currency movements and the planned Sandals partnership remain important factors for investors.
Royal Caribbean Group strengthened its earnings outlook after a third-quarter performance above expectations and reported continued momentum in bookings for 2027 sailings. The update adds a forward-looking demand signal to the company's raised 2026 guidance.
Bookings point to sustained demand
Royal Caribbean said bookings for 2027 cruises are pacing ahead of historical levels at higher prices. Since the previous earnings call, overall booking volumes have increased in the mid-teens, while 2027 bookings have risen in the high teens, according to the company's update reported by PAX.
Guidance moves higher
For the third quarter, revenue reached USD 5.6 billion, up 9 percent from a year earlier, while adjusted earnings per share came to USD 6.57. Royal Caribbean now expects full-year adjusted earnings per share of USD 17.85 to USD 17.95, with revenue growth of 9 percent and constant-currency net yield growth of about 2.1 percent.
Management attributed the stronger quarter partly to close-in demand in Europe and the Caribbean. The outlook also reflects higher anticipated fuel costs and currency exchange rates, which could temper the benefit from stronger bookings.

The company's third-quarter release was listed by Royal Caribbean Group Investor Relations on October 27, 2026. The group also plans to acquire a 50 percent interest in Sandals and Beaches Resorts, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals, adding a land-based growth avenue.
