- Jefferies sees Royal Caribbean's 2027 earnings target as conservative as bookings continue to run ahead.

- Strong onboard spending and planned land-based expansion support the longer-term growth case.
Wall Street analysts are raising their expectations for Royal Caribbean's long-term earnings power after the cruise operator's third-quarter results. Cruise Industry News reported on Sunday, November 1, that several analysts regard the company's 2027 adjusted earnings target with a 20-dollar handle as conservative.
Jefferies analyst David Katz said bookings for 2027 sailings had been pacing up in the high teens over the previous 90 days. He estimated adjusted earnings per share of 20.90 dollars for 2027 and raised his price target to 350 dollars from 330 dollars while retaining a buy rating.
Bookings Drive The Bull Case
The analyst view rests on demand momentum as well as Royal Caribbean's planned expansion beyond traditional cruise operations. Katz said the 2027 target does not include a contribution from the company's planned investment in Sandals and Beaches Resorts. Additional ship capacity and land-based assets could therefore add to the growth profile beyond the current planning horizon.
Onboard spending also remained robust, according to Katz, with technology adoption, gaming and beverage sales supporting the revenue mix. That spending trend gives investors another operating indicator to watch alongside booking volumes and pricing.
William Blair analyst Sharon Zackfia reiterated an outperform rating and raised her 2027 earnings estimate to 20.48 dollars from 20.04 dollars. She expects Royal Caribbean to grow earnings by about 15 percent this year and meet its original January guidance, despite full-year fuel expenses running 15 percent above the initial forecast.
BNP Paribas analyst Xian Siew maintained a 392-dollar price target and said the latest results addressed concerns about the fourth-quarter yield acceleration implied by management's guidance. The company also reiterated its Perfecta targets, including the goal of reaching a 20-dollar adjusted EPS level in 2027.
