- Reliance Industries is expected to benefit from stronger oil-to-chemicals earnings in the September quarter.
- The board is also set to consider non-convertible debenture financing as investors assess Jio Platforms' market debut.
Reliance Industries is set to consider its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, at a board meeting on Friday, October 30. The board is also scheduled to review a possible issue of non-convertible debentures, according to Upstox.
O2C recovery drives expectations
Experts cited by Upstox expect consolidated revenue between INR 3.12 lakh crore and INR 3.15 lakh crore, compared with INR 2.54 lakh crore in the year-earlier quarter. Consolidated net profit attributable to owners is expected to reach INR 21,100 crore to INR 22,110 crore, versus INR 18,165 crore a year earlier.
Consolidated EBITDA is forecast at INR 51,000 crore to INR 53,000 crore. The expectations are linked mainly to a recovery in Reliance's oil-to-chemicals business, stronger refining margins and a weaker rupee. Investors will also assess the retail, oil and gas and digital-services businesses.
Jio adds a separate market focus
The results follow the listing of Jio Platforms, Reliance's telecom and digital-services subsidiary. Management commentary on new energy, operating trends and the broader outlook will be important as investors compare the newly listed subsidiary with its contribution to the parent group's consolidated figures.
Upstox also highlighted technical pressure ahead of the results and said the options market was pricing a potential move of about 5.6% by the November expiry. That market positioning describes expectations rather than a confirmed post-results direction.
